How to show or hide discounts and quantity controls

Use these controls to simplify checkout and limit the changes employees can make from the register.

Hide register discounts

1. Open Settings > Register.
2. Enable Hide Discount to remove discount controls from the cart and item-editing flow.
3. Save Register settings.

Use this when discounts require a separate approval process or should not be available during normal checkout.

Hide quantity controls

1. Enable Hide Quantity.
2. Save Register settings.

This prevents employees from adjusting an item’s quantity at the register. It is useful when items are normally scanned or entered one at a time.

These settings change the visible register controls. They do not replace employee permissions or inventory rules.
