# How to enable break-even and profit-mode alerts

**In this guide:** Receive an immediate text when Daily Target turns yellow at break-even or green in profit mode.

## Before you start

Complete [Daily Target setup](https://help.repairnestpos.com/books/daily-target/page/how-to-set-up-daily-target) for the location. These alerts use its monthly expenses, desired profit, and business-day calculation.

## Steps

1. Open **Settings > Text Alert Settings**.
2. Add at least one phone-number recipient.
3. Under **Event Alerts**, enable **Break-even (Yellow Light)**.
4. Enable **Profit Mode (Green Light)**.
5. Select **Save Text Alert Settings**.

## What the alerts mean

- **Break-even (Yellow Light):** Today's performance has covered the daily expense target.
- **Profit Mode (Green Light):** Today's performance has moved into the profit portion of the target.
