Language & Localization

Use RepairNest POS in English, Arabic, Spanish, or French and save each employee’s preferred interface language.

Supported Languages

Understand the four interface languages available in RepairNest POS.

Supported Languages

Which Languages Does RepairNest POS Support?

RepairNest POS supports four interface languages:

The selection changes translated interface text such as menus, labels, buttons, navigation, and supported messages throughout the software.

Product names, customer-entered text, notes, and other business data remain as they were entered unless separately edited or translated.

Supported Languages

What Changes When You Select Another Language?

After an employee’s language is saved, RepairNest POS applies that locale to the interface.

Examples of translated interface content

The language setting does not alter prices, inventory, transactions, permissions, or historical records. It changes how the software communicates with the signed-in employee.

Supported Languages

How Arabic Language Mode Works

When Arabic is selected, RepairNest POS applies the Arabic interface translations and right-to-left presentation where supported. Supported numeric controls may also show Arabic-Indic digit behavior.

Check important workflows after changing languages so the employee is comfortable with navigation, register actions, and reports. Business data entered in English or another language is not automatically rewritten.

Change Your Language

Edit your own employee profile from the upper-right user menu and apply a preferred language.

Change Your Language

How to Change Your Own POS Language

  1. Select your employee avatar or user menu in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select the pencil icon beside your name.
  3. Find the Language field.
  4. Choose English, Arabic, Spanish, or French.
  5. Save your employee profile.

When you edit your own profile, the selected language is applied to the current interface and saved as your employee preference.

Change Your Language

How to Change Language and Appearance Together

  1. Open the upper-right user menu.
  2. Select the pencil icon.
  3. Choose the preferred Language.
  4. Choose Light or Dark under Appearance.
  5. Save the employee profile.

Language and appearance are independent. For example, an employee may use Spanish in dark mode while another uses English in light mode.

Change Your Language

How to Return the POS to English

  1. Open the upper-right employee menu.
  2. Select the pencil icon.
  3. Open the Language field.
  4. Select English.
  5. Save.

If navigating the current language is difficult, the employee avatar and pencil icon remain useful visual landmarks. An authorized manager can also edit the employee’s profile from the employee list.

Employee Language Preferences

Assign a different language to each employee and understand what changes after sign-in.

Employee Language Preferences

How to Set a Language for Another Employee

  1. Open the employee list with the required permission.
  2. Edit the employee.
  3. Find the Language field.
  4. Select English, Arabic, Spanish, or French.
  5. Save the employee record.

The selected language becomes part of that employee’s profile and is applied when the employee signs in.

Employee Language Preferences

How Employee-Specific Language Preferences Work

Each employee can have an independent language preference. On a shared register, one employee can work in Arabic, another in Spanish, another in French, and another in English.

When an employee signs in, RepairNest POS reads the language saved in that employee’s profile and applies it to the interface. If no supported preference is found, English is used as the default.

This lets a multilingual team share the same POS without changing one company-wide language every time the user changes.

Employee Language Preferences

Employee POS Language vs. Customer Language

The employee’s Language preference controls the RepairNest POS interface used by that employee.

A customer-language field, where available, describes the customer’s communication preference. It does not automatically change the signed-in employee’s interface.

Keep these concepts separate: choose the employee language for software navigation and use customer information to support customer communication.

Employee Language Preferences

How Language Preferences Work on Shared Registers

  1. Make sure each employee profile has the correct Language and Appearance.
  2. Have the current employee finish or save their work.
  3. Sign in as the next employee.
  4. Confirm the interface changes to that employee’s language and visual mode.

The current device may temporarily remember the most recently applied locale, but employee sign-in reapplies the language stored with the employee profile.

Language Troubleshooting

Resolve missing, unchanged, or unexpected interface-language behavior.

Language Troubleshooting

The Language Did Not Change After Saving

  1. Confirm the employee profile was saved successfully.
  2. Verify the Language field shows English, Arabic, Spanish, or French.
  3. Refresh the interface or sign out and sign back in.
  4. Make sure you edited the employee who is currently signed in.

If the problem continues, ask an authorized manager to reopen the employee record and save the preference again.

Language Troubleshooting

Some Business Information Was Not Translated

The language feature translates supported RepairNest POS interface text. It does not automatically translate user-entered business data.

The following may remain in the language in which they were entered:

Edit custom content separately if your business needs translated versions.

Language and Localization Troubleshooting

The preferred language is missing

RepairNest POS currently supports English, Arabic, Spanish, and French.

The interface returned to English

Confirm the signed-in employee has a supported Language saved. English is the fallback when no valid preference is available.

Arabic alignment looks different

Arabic uses right-to-left presentation where supported, so navigation and layout direction may change intentionally.

Another employee sees my language

Have that employee sign in and confirm their own profile contains the correct language.

A label is still in English

Some custom or newly introduced content may not yet have a localized value. The underlying workflow remains available.

Language & Localization: Complete Guide

RepairNest POS can present its interface in four languages and remember the selection for each employee.

An employee can open the upper-right user menu, select the pencil icon, and choose both a preferred Language and Light or Dark Appearance. After saving, the interface uses that employee’s preference.
